GRA offers several products that are compatible with the ASTS3 system. When purchased, the barcode scanners are delivered custom programmed to work with the ASTS3 database (ASTS ready). The APEX II scanner is availabel for purchase or weekly rental and Barcode Labels can be purchased pre-printed with a custom header.

The APEX II Scanning System
The APEX II Scanner
has the ability to hold approx. 5,000 items to aid in the reduction of found on post equipment during a hand receipt inventory. The ergonomic design of the APEX II permits single-handed data collection leaving one hand free to manipulate items. This feature, alone, contributes to a reduction in user fatigue and leads to increased productivity. Information electronically transferred from the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) is downloaded into the scanner. Each scan allows the user to view the barcode, serial, model, manufacturer, nomenclature, cost, hand receipt holder and hand receipt number for the item. The user can make real time corrections to the items being inventoried. Upon inventory completion the information uploads to update the ASTS database. Pre-loaded with ASTS scanning software. Comes with 1MB RAM, RS232 cable and 4AAA batteries. Available for purchase or rental.

SATO CT400 Thermal Transfer Barcode Printer
(SATO CT400) prints durable, synthetic barcodes. Barcodes can be generated by the user or printed directly from the information taken from DPAS. Labels are 1.75" X 1.75". Parallel interface only. IEEE 1384 cable, 2 rolls of SF300 labels and 4 rolls of Premier 1 ribbon included. |

A high resin composition, PremierT I is ideal for printing on synthetic media. Premier I ribbon produces extremely durable labels when combined with top-coated synthetic media and is recommended for extreme conditions, such as asset labeling. It is resistant to most solvents, including alcohol, oils, fats, petroleum, haloid and aromatic. |
