The ASTS system takes the work out managing assests including Goverment Expendable, Non-Expendable and Durable property by providing the property manager with an accurate, efficient tool to facilitate the inventory process. The ASTS web-based software has an established electronic interface with the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS). This interface allows the user to always be aware of the current status of their property while enjoying the ease of use that the ASTS system provides. ASTS takes the work out of managing your accountable property.
With each scan, numerous identifying fields are displayed for accuracy checks. The user can initiate real time corrections, flag an item for turn-in, enter additions, assign items, and reorder barcodes all from within the barcode scanner interface. Upon completion of an inventory, the data uploads effortlessly to update the ASTS database.
ASTS can work with, or alongside, official Government property accountability systems such as DPAS and PBUSE via an established interface. This interface allows the property manager to accurately track transactions, assignments, locations, and more in ASTS.
